Halo gone Airborne

Don't think this is just another normal campaign screenshot taken from halo 3 with the halo 3 logo and then call it "a deviation." I'm sick and tired of people posting pictures taken directly from Halo 3 and calling it their deviation. I mean, yes they took the picture, but did they do anything special with it to call it a deviation? I don't think so. If you're going to take a picture from Halo 3 and post it on DA, at least do something that manipulates it into your own creative work! If I wanted to look at a normal Halo 3 screen I can just go to Bungie's website and browse there! YOU DON'T HAVE TO BRING IT HERE AT DA!!!

So to relief of myself from this on going frustration of seeing "OMFG LOOK AT MY HAYABUSA ARMORZZZZ111!!!111" taken directly from Bungie's website (you know, the default one you see at your halo 3 stats page near your achievements), and or Multiplayer SS that LOOK LIKE THE SAME THING AT BUNGIE'S WEBSITE WITHOUT ANY MANIPULATION, I decided to do "the correct" way of posting a halo 3 related screen shot and "manipulating" it into something that is "sorta" DA worthy i.e. not just another Screenshot taken from Bungie's website!!!

Ok enough of that complaining...

I took 2 photos of myself in campaign, and merged them into one photo. Bungie recently released an article ([link]) about this particular thing, and I took on the challenge and tried it for myself.

I don't have CS3 or anything special, so I basically had to blur, smudge, air brushed, and feather the edge's so that they "combine" into one photo.

This took awhile to do, seeing that I don't "merge" pictures into one picture.

I added the H3 logo (obviously) and this is what I came up with.

I used the dodge tool for highlighting parts of his armor and turn up the contrast to 17.

And finally I shrunk it down from 1253 W to 800 W.

It might not be the greatest SS render ever, but I was just trying to do something "different" with Halo 3 Screenshot's here at DA because I am sick and tired of people posting "default" pictures of themselves in halo 3 without any "manipulation."

Oh if you are going to flame on me, well this is what we normal folks call an "opinion" so I just don't give a hoot of what you say about my "anti-default-halo-3-screen-shot-at-DA-thing."
